Whitstable, Kent
written by neja on 2010-07-15 #placesWhitstable is a hidden seaside gem of Kent, a county also called "England's gardens". Whitstable is my discovery of the year. It only 1 hour drive away from London (well, apart from some weekends when Blackwall tunnel is closed), or an hour and a half by train from Victoria station (£24 for any time day return ticket).

Bay Harbour Market, Cape Town
written by neja on 2012-07-23 #placesBay Harbour Market, truly organic and creative! I heard a lot about The Old Biscuit Mill Market of Cape Town, but I was glad we went to Bay Harbour Market instead. It truly has a community spirit and a very relaxed atmosphere, with almost no tourists at all.
