Exploring the beauty of a Fjord...I thought that this was only possible in Norway but in fact, you can explore the surprising Fjordland in southwestern New Zealand! We went to the Doubtful Sound and despite it's name, there's no doubt that it's one of the most amazing places I've ever seen.

After visiting Nuku Hiva and Hiva Oa, we finally landed on the last island of our Marquesas trip, Ua Huka. We decided to spend 3 days on this very small island as everybody told us that it was the most magic and wild one, absolutely different from all the other islands. And indeed, we really made a trip "into the wild".....

Durdle Door

Durdle Door is one of the most photographed landmarks along the Jurassic Coast. This rock arch in the sea was formed as a result of the softer rocks being eroded away behind the hard limestones, allowing the sea to punch through them. The name Durdle is derived from an old English word 'thirl' meaning bore or drill.

The National Church of Iceland or as we Icelandic tourist say "Þjóðkirkjan", is truly Lutheran. As so there is not much of the glamor and the whole „passion of the Christ“ hollywoodesque show you maybe would expect in catholic regions. No, Iceland is rough and plain and so are the churches.

Alquería de Morayma - the best rural accommodation ever! I have never stayed in such a place before, and I would have never even found it by myself. But my friends from Barranco Oscuro, the amazing organic vineyard nearby, have recommended this place.
