    A Scottish road trip which runs from Stirling Castle to the Wallace Monument then the Loch Lomond! My best friend and her boyfriend who were working in Germany came and visited me in Edinburgh when I was studying there. We rented a car and went on a road trip on a sunny autumn day. My housemate joined us too!

    The Botanic Gardens in Glasgow's West End includes an outdoor arboretum and several Victorian greenhouses. Created in 1817 and originally used to supply the nearby university; the gardens were host to all manner of concerts and events. Two abandoned railway stations are located within its grounds.

    Arthur's Seat is a natural inner city escape. It is an extinct volcano and has been called by this name since the 15th century. Walking though the valleys in and around Arthur's Seat you can easily forget that you're in the city centre.

    Buildings opposite the Buchanan Galleries are being demolished to make way for ten new shops, a restaurant, and forty-nine new flats.
